LightHome is designed to be "Privacy-First". We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to external servers. All settings, tasks, and shortcuts are stored locally on your device using the browser's storage APIs.

2. Geolocation

LightHome includes a weather feature that requires access to your geographical location. This data is handled according to the following principles:

• Purpose: Your location is used solely to fetch current weather conditions (temperature and description) for your area.
• Processing: Location coordinates are sent to the Open-Meteo API (api.open-meteo.com) to retrieve weather data.
• Storage: Your approximate coordinates are stored locally in your browser's storage to minimize redundant geolocation requests.
• Transmission: No location data is ever sent to us or any third party other than the weather data provider.

3. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service LightHome interacts with is Open-Meteo for atmospheric data. We recommend reviewing their privacy policy for information on how they handle API requests.

4. Data Security

Since your data remains on your local machine, the security of your information depends on the security of your device and browser.
